Pharmacist Sharon Kahnke of St. Paul Corner Drug and pharmacist Elias Usso of Seward Pharmacy, explain the importance of medication therapy management and de-prescribing when serving elder populations.

Visual artist Seitu Ken Jones and poet Soyini Vinelle Guyton are preparing to leave a legacy for the arts community. They plan to build an arts space in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul called "The Black Gate." The Black Gate will house a gallery, their archives and two long-term artist residency apartments for the benefit of the next generations of artists.

Exploring heathy aging with Drs. Jon Hallberg through the 4M’s framework of Mobility, Mentation (more commonly thought of as mood and memory), Medication and What Matters to older adults, all with an artistic lens. This is a co-production with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

The Amazing Grace Chorus celebrates Black culture and history through gospel music in a dementia-friendly environment for members 55+. Founded at the Walker West Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota the choir aims to decrease isolation for elders, give culturally relevant tools surrounding dementia and pass down the traditions of gospel music from one generation to the next.

Artists answer, "Why is it important to talk about healthy aging?"

Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Ragamala Dance Company, Ranee Ramaswamy still dances bharatanatyam in her 70's, but makes conscience decisions about what she performs in order to honor her age and the realities of changing mobility. This story is a part of Art + Medicine: Healthy Aging, a TPT co-production with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Original jazz composition "Levity"performed by the Ari Nahum Trio at the Weisman Art Museum by clinicians who serve elderly populations. In addition, Minnesota artists explain what gives them joy about aging.

Candace Barrett Birk celebrates aging by performing Mary Oliver's poem "When Death Comes" at Lakewood Cemetery for Art + Medicine: Healthy Aging. This is a TPT co-production with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

A celebration of aging with Alexander Borodin's String Quartet No.2 in D Major: III. Nocturne at the Weisman Art Museum. Quartet members include Janet Horvath (cello), Taichi Chen (violin II), Catherine Schubilske (violin I) and Leslie Shank (viola) in Art + Medicine: Healthy Aging. This is a TPT co-production with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
